MACE takes pride in introducing innovative engineering methods and in applying them. Cathodic protection of subterranean concrete structures, sewer surveys and sewer rehabilitation were some examples of such new technologies. In keeping with our drive for innovation we encourage and fund our staff to undertake their CPD, attend seminars and study to keep abreast of new methods of management, accounting and engineering technologies, whether that be at home in the UAE, or overseas. MACE is able to allocate an entire workforce for a specific project from professionally qualified engineers backed by university degrees in engineering construction and engineering management to administrative support staff to field hands. When possible, personnel are recruited from the domestic workforce ,who are familiar with elements intrinsic to the region. Hiring domestically also enables the company to become well integrated into the community as well as stimulating the economy by providing employment. In support of Project delivery we have an extensive asset portfolio of Plant, Vehicles and Machines along with a well-stocked materials and parts store, to ensure all projects can proceed without delays. MACE was amongst the first companies in the region to achieve the ISO 9001: 2000 accreditation. Since then we have secured further accreditation including ISO 14001: 2004 (Environmental Management Systems) and BSi 18001: 2007 OHSAS (Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems).
